             The Miramar Patriots will head out to  face off against the Cardinal Gibbons Chiefs  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Cardinal Gibbons took a loss in their last  matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Miramar, who comes in off a win.
Miramar's defense heads into the  game  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Friday. They breezed past Everglades to the tune of  46-0. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won three contests by 39  points or more  so far this season.

 Meanwhile, Cardinal Gibbons fell victim to Chaminade-Madonna and their airtight defense  on Friday. They took a  blow against the Lions, falling  47-0. Having soared to a lofty 35  points in the game before, the Chiefs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
 Miramar has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 34.8 points over those games. As for Cardinal Gibbons, they moved to 6-3 with that  defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
 Miramar strolled past Cardinal Gibbons when the teams last played  back in November of 2024 by a score of  42-28. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Patriots since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
