Softball Game Preview: Paramus Spartans vs. Cliffside Park Red Raiders

Paramus has gone a perfect 3-0 against Cliffside Park recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Spartans will take on the Red Raiders at 4:15 p.m. Paramus has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with six straight losses, while Cliffside Park will come in with five straight wins.

Paramus is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They fell 11-7 to Fair Lawn on Saturday.

Six must be Cliffside Park's lucky number: they beat Ridgefield Memorial with that score not once but twice on Saturday. The Red Raiders walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Royals. While the Red Raiders didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Kaitlyn Bielins was excellent, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run and one RBI. Khloe Bielins was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Paramus' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Cliffside Park, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

Everything went Paramus' way against Cliffside Park in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, as Paramus made off with a 12-1 victory. Will the Spartans repeat their success, or do the Red Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
