Basketball Game Preview: West Creek Coyote vs. Henry County Patriots

The West Creek Coyote will venture away from home to take on the Henry County Patriots at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.

West Creek is headed into the match having just suffered their closest defeat since December 29, 2023 on Tuesday. They fell just short of Kenwood by a score of 46-43. The contest marked the Coyote's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Henry County entered their tilt with Huntingdon on Monday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They secured a 65-61 W over the Mustangs. Given the Patriots' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 95th, while the Mustangs are ranked 222nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Henry County's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for West Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.

West Creek skirted past Henry County 46-44 in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Does West Creek have another victory up their sleeve, or will Henry County turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
