Airline (Bossier City, La.) started the 2015 season on fire as the Vikings won their first seven games of the season, but lost its final four games, including a nail-biter to Ponchatoula at home, 21-17, in the first round of the state playoffs.

This year the Vikings look to pick up where they left off. One key to Airline's success last year was the play of its defense, which gave up 17.8 points per game on average. This year, one of the returning starters, senior defensive back D'Kameron White, will look to lead the unit and keep the trend of locking down opponents going.

In 2015, White had a great season, racking up 37 total tackles, six pass break-ups, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
