Softball Recap: Saratoga Central Catholic Comes Up Short

Saratoga Central Catholic's last matchup with Galway could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Wednesday. The Saints lost 13-4 to the Golden Eagles. The Saints haven't had much luck with the Golden Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Allison Fuller was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two doubles. She is on a roll when it comes to hits, as she's now got three or more in each of the last four games she's played. Grace Schaefer was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one triple and one run.

Saratoga Central Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Galway, their win was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-3.

As of now, neither Saratoga Central Catholic nor the Golden Eagles have any future games scheduled.
