Softball Recap: George Washington Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for George Washington's offense. They lost 7-0 to the William Campbell Generals on Thursday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

George Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for William Campbell, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-7 record this season.

George Washington will take on Fleming at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for William Campbell, they will venture away from home to challenge Chatham at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Cavaliers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Generals surely won't give up without a fight.
