Volleyball Recap: Skidmore-Tynan Takes a Loss

Skidmore-Tynan saw some tournament action on Thursday. They fell 2-0 to the Edcouch-Elsa Yellowjackets. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Edcouch-Elsa's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Hailey Rodriguez led the charge by getting seven digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Rodriguez a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Alliyah Ramirez, who had ten digs and three aces.

Skidmore-Tynan's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Edcouch-Elsa, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

Skidmore-Tynan has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Veterans Memorial on the 21st. As for Edcouch-Elsa, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against IDEA Frontier College Prep on the 21st.
