Baseball Game Preview: Avalon Black Knights vs. Bullis Bulldogs

The Avalon Black Knights will square off against the Bullis Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Avalon is looking for their season's first win.

Avalon's last matchup with Fairfax HomeSchool could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Saturday. Avalon lost 11-1 to Fairfax HomeSchool.

Guarion Rodriguez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and one RBI. Those stolen bases were his first of the season.

Meanwhile, Bullis came up short against Sidwell Friends on Thursday and fell 5-2. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Avalon's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Bullis, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Avalon skirted past Bullis 7-6 when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Does Avalon have another victory up their sleeve, or will Bullis turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
