Volleyball Recap: Grand Oaks Comes Up Short

Grand Oaks was the 2-0 winner over Tomball when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Grizzlies fell 2-0 to the Cougars on Thursday. The Grizzlies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Grand Oaks was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Tomball work for it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-18.

Grand Oaks' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Tomball, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Grand Oaks didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Tomas on the 14th. As for Tomball, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Katy on the 14th.
