North Branch has gone 8-2 against Yale recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Broncos will square off against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

North Branch is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Richmond on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Broncos were outmatched by the Blue Devils and fell 37-7. The Broncos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Yale ended up a good deal behind Armada on Friday and lost 42-27. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 275th, while the Tigers are ranked 126th).

North Branch now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Yale, they now also have a losing record of 2-3.

North Branch strolled past Yale when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a score of 28-14. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Broncos since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
