Basketball Recap: Charlotte Elite Academy Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

Charlotte Elite Academy won the last time they faced Central Carolina Prep, and Kaleel Benjamin did his part to make sure it happened again. The Charlotte Elite Academy Soldiers slipped by the Central Carolina Prep Defenders 55-54 on Thursday thanks in part to Benjamin, who went 8 of 15 en route to 20 points and eight boards. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.7 points per game.

Another player making a difference was Promit Saha, who posted seven points. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.

Charlotte Elite Academy is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.5 points per game. As for Central Carolina Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-13.
