Softball Recap: Coppell Comes Up Short

After soaring to 12 runs the game before, Coppell was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They lost 16-1 to the Flower Mound Jaguars. The Cowboys have struggled against the Jaguars recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Kimber Kerrigan made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run.

Coppell's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8-1. As for Flower Mound, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-5-1.

Coppell didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-3 loss against Marcus on the 26th. As for Flower Mound, they have also already played their next match, a 5-3 victory against Hebron on the 25th.
