Football Recap: Whitewater Comes Up Short

Whitewater was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Jefferson Eagles 63-18. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Whippets of the 48-12 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Whitewater's record now sits at 1-6. As for Jefferson, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Coming up, Whitewater will welcome Edgerton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Crimson Tide will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Whippets surely won't give up without a fight. As for Jefferson, they will head out to face off against McFarland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
