West Geauga waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Kirtland Hornets as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The game marked the Wolverines' most dominant win of the season so far.

The 3-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-23, 25-22.

West Geauga now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Kirtland, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Geauga will face off against Crestwood at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kirtland, they will square off against Lutheran West at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
