With a playoff win on the line, Holtville rose to the challenge on Monday. They blew past the Jemison Panthers 14-2. Considering the Bulldogs have won 12 contests by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Bailea Boone and Laylin Graham did most of the damage at the plate: Boone went 3-for-4 with six stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI, while Graham went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits Graham has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Kylie Snowden, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Holtville hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in three consecutive games.
