Football Game Recap: West Lincoln vs. East Burke

East Burke might have drawn first blood against West Lincoln on Thursday, but it was West Lincoln who got the last laugh. East Burke took a serious blow against West Lincoln, falling 0-48. East Burke were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as West Lincoln apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat from the last time the teams met up.

The loss dropped East Burke's record to 1-4. The victory bumped West Lincoln's record up to 4-0.

East Burke will have some time to rest before their next contest, which is against West Iredell in two weeks at 7:30 PM. As for West Lincoln, they will face off against North Lincoln. West Lincoln have bulldozed their previous four opponents, so North Lincoln might have their hands full.
