Vernon Hills hasn't had much luck at home recently (they'd lost four straight dating back to last season) but thanks in part to Giuseppe Urso that streak is no more. The Cougars came out on top against the Niles North Vikings by a score of 35-22 on Friday with plenty of help from Urso, who rushed for 207 yards and three touchdowns. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 108.2 rushing yards per game.

Vernon Hills now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Niles North, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
