Peru won the last time they faced Caston, and Addie Robbins did her part to make sure it happened again. The Peru Tigers walked away with a 44-33 victory over the Caston Comets on Friday thanks in part to Robbins, who went 7 of 14 on her way to 21 points along with five boards and three blocks. That's the most points she has posted since back in November of 2023.
Despite the defeat, Caston saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Madisyn Douglass dropped a double-double on 23 points and 12 boards. That was a full 69.7% of Caston's points, marking the tenth time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points.
