Soccer Recap: Scotus Comes Up Short

Scotus came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 4-1 to the Kearney Catholic Stars. The game was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Scotus struggled afterwards.

Scotus' defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-6. As for Kearney Catholic, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Scotus will square off against rival Madison at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Kearney Catholic is set to challenge their familiar foe The Platte at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
