St. Joseph Notre Dame has gone a perfect 6-0 against Redwood Christian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Pilots will host the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. St. Joseph Notre Dame is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, St. Joseph Notre Dame didn't have quite enough to beat San Leandro and fell 3-2.

St. Joseph Notre Dame took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 23-25, 21-25, 25-23, 15-11.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Redwood Christian and College Prep, and College Prep kept the tradition alive. The Eagles fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. While the Eagles didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Cougars 25-16 in the first set.

Redwood Christian took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 25-9, 22-25, 25-11, 15-8.

St. Joseph Notre Dame's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Redwood Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season.

Everything went St. Joseph Notre Dame's way against Redwood Christian in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as St. Joseph Notre Dame made off with a 3-0 victory.
