Dublin is 8-1 against Livermore since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Gaels will challenge the Cowboys at 6:30 p.m. Dublin is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Dublin came up short against Granada and fell 3-1.

Dublin couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Granada a tough time in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 28-30, 25-21, 27-25.

Meanwhile, Livermore hadn't done well against Foothill recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Cowboys walked away with a 3-1 win over the Falcons. The victory was some much needed relief for the Cowboys as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Livermore found their leader in sophomore Samuel Walter, who had 13 digs. Walter has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last four times he's played. Isaak Cortes also deserves some recognition as he had his first blocks of the season.

Livermore's win bumped their record up to 18-13. As for Dublin, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-7.

Dublin came out on top in a nail-biter against Livermore in their previous matchup last Tuesday, sneaking past 3-2. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Walter, who had 20 digs and two aces. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will the Gaels still be able to contain Walter? There's only one way to find out.
