Volleyball Recap: Liberty's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

If Liberty was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Pocono Mountain West last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hurricanes fell 3-1 to the Emmaus Hornets on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Hurricanes in their meetings with the Hornets: they've now lost four in a row.

The final score came out to 25-11, 22-25, 25-11, 25-16.

Having lost for the first time this season, Liberty fell to 2-1. As for Emmaus, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 11-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Liberty will face off against rival Louis E. Dieruff at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Emmaus is set to challenge their familiar foe Bethlehem Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
