Football Game Preview: Willits Wolverines vs. Redwood Christian Eagles + How To Watch

The Willits Wolverines will face off against the Redwood Christian Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Willits is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 26.4 points per game this season.

Willits took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They walked away with a 15-6 win over Fort Bragg. The Wolverines haven't had any issues with the Timberwolves recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Willits can attribute much of their success to Porter Garman, who gained 143 total yards, and Ryan Carter, who picked up 23 receiving yards and one score. Garman also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making eight total tackles and defending one pass.

Willits didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Damian Reiter and Donny Alexander.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Redwood Christian challenged Foothill on Friday. The Eagles lost to the Falcons on the road by a 35-18 margin. The Eagles were down 28-8 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Redwood Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-3 record this season. As for Willits, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.
