Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lewiston-Altura). They took down the Cannon Falls Bombers 96-79 on Saturday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Cardinals' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 156th, while the Bombers are ranked 19th).

Lewiston-Altura's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-8. As for Cannon Falls, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-3.

Lewiston-Altura will take on Rushford-Peterson at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Cannon Falls, they will face off against Zumbrota-Mazeppa at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Cannon Falls is facing Zumbrota-Mazeppa at the right time seeing as Zumbrota-Mazeppa is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
