Volleyball Recap: Pioneer Comes Up Short

Pioneer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Montebello Oilers. The Titans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Oilers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Pioneer's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Montebello, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-7.

Pioneer didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Rowland on the 6th. As for Montebello, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against United Christian Academy on the 6th.
