Parkland beats Emmaus for their tenth straight win

Recap: Parkland Trojans vs. Emmaus Hornets

The Parkland Trojans put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against Emmaus as Parkland made off with a 41-17 win. The result was nothing new for Parkland, who have now won eight matches by 21 points or more so far this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Parkland to victory, but perhaps none more so than Luke Spang, who threw for 230 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also punched in a rushing scores. Connor Johns was another key contributor, picking up 133 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Parkland's victory was their eighth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 10-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 44.1 points per game. As for Emmaus, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.

Parkland will be playing in front of their home fans against Williamsport at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Williamsport will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 299th, while Parkland is ranked eighth). As for Emmaus, they will head out on the road to face off against Freedom at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Freedom will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each match than the last.
