Basketball Recap: Ferris Comes Up Short

Ferris was the 71-63 winner over University when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Ferris Saxons took a 67-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the University Titans on Tuesday. The Saxons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ferris' loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for University, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ferris will square off against Gonzaga Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Gonzaga Prep will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Ferris surely won't give up without a fight. As for University, they will face off against Lewis & Clark at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. University knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Lewis & Clark likes a good challenge.
