Softball Recap: Warren County Eagles vs. Vance Charter Knights

Vance Charter hit Warren County with a six-run fourth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Eagles fell 8-4 to the Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 on April 1st.

Kenley Sheats put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched seven innings while giving up just two earned (and six unearned) runs off six hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
