Hartselle faced Huntsville in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Tigers skirted past the Panthers 2-1. The win was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on ten straight.
Lacey Hollis and Charlotte Krichev certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Hollis had 12 digs and three aces, while Krichev had 13 assists.
Hartselle's victory bumped their record up to 31-10. As for Huntsville, with the loss, they broke their ten-match winning streak and moved their record to 30-7.
Coming up, Hartselle will face off against Bob Jones at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Huntsville, they are taking a road trip to challenge Hewitt-Trussville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
