Softball Recap: Monroe's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Monroe fell victim to Geneva and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 18-0 to the Panthers. The loss put an end to the Red Jackets' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Monroe fell to 2-1. As for Geneva, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Monroe will face off against School of the Arts at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Geneva, they will take on Naples at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Big Green Machines will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
