Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Annapolis Area Christian walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Mercy Magic on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won 17 matches in a row.

Annapolis Area Christian found their leader in freshman Harper Walker, who had eight digs and two aces. Walker is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Annapolis Area Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 11 aces in five consecutive contests.

Annapolis Area Christian's victory bumped their record up to 22-2. As for Mercy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.
