Basketball Recap: Liam Daniels Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Summers County

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against James Monroe, Liberty was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Summers County Bobcats by a score of 56-43. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 53-42 back in January.

Liberty's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Liam Daniels, who posted 15 points and three steals. Daniels is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played. Parker Hodges was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Liberty's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Summers County, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-12.

Coming up, Liberty will be playing at home against PikeView at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Liberty is facing PikeView at the right time seeing as PikeView is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Summers County, they are taking a road trip to take on Wyoming East at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
