West was the 5-2 winner over Torrance when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. West fell just short of Torrance by a score of 5-3 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Warriors have suffered against the Tartars since May 18, 2021.

Reef Sharman put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched four innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits.
