Soccer Recap: Southeast Whitfield County Takes a Loss

Southeast Whitfield County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Dalton Catamounts, falling 6-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Dalton this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in March.

Southeast Whitfield County's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Dalton, they pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Southeast Whitfield County will head out to challenge Cambridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cambridge will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Southeast Whitfield County surely won't give up without a fight. As for Dalton, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Westminster at 6:00 p.m. Dalton will need to watch out since Westminster have now posted at least four goals in their last three matchups.
