Softball Recap: Bloomfield Takes a Loss

After flying high against Montclair Kimberley Academy on Monday, Bloomfield came back down to earth. The Bengals came up short against the Verona Hillbillies on Tuesday, falling 14-8. The Bengals haven't had much luck with the Hillbillies recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Bloomfield now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Verona, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-5.

Bloomfield didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 15-1 win against East Side on the 1st. As for Verona, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 9-8 loss against Nutley on the 2nd.
