Preview: TEACH vs. Norfolk Christian Ambassadors
TEACH on the road again on Friday and play against the Norfolk Christian Ambassadors at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
TEACH suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They were outmatched by StoneBridge on the road and fell 65-29. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points TEACH has scored all season.
Norfolk Christian lost a heartbreaker when they last took the court, but unfortunately for them the loss they were handed on on Thursday was a bit more commanding. Their rough 68-45 loss to Nansemond-Suffolk Academy might stick with them for a while. Norfolk Christian has not had much luck with Nansemond-Suffolk Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
TEACH dropped their record down to 2-10 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Norfolk Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season.
Things could have been worse for TEACH, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 50-36 loss to Norfolk Christian when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Can TEACH avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
