Basketball Recap: Seymour Takes a Loss

Seymour was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 53-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the New Albany Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Owls can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 161st, while the Bulldogs are ranked 20th).

Seymour's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for New Albany, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seymour will square off against Martinsville at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Martinsville has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 180 points over their last three games. As for New Albany, they will take on DuPont Manual at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
