Basketball Recap: Sneads' Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

Sneads had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They enjoyed a cozy 45-29 win over the Ponce De Leon Pirates on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 59-43 back in December of 2024.

Aaron Williams was the offensive standout of the matchup as he posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Josh Harrell, who earned nine points.

Sneads' victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-13. As for Ponce De Leon, their loss dropped their record down to 7-10.

Sneads has already played their next contest, a 53-41 defeat against Cottondale on the 17th. As for Ponce De Leon, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 49-47 loss against Holmes County on the 17th.
