Basketball Recap: Ninilchik Takes a Loss

Ninilchik was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 41-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ketchikan Kings. The match marked the Wolverines' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the loss, Ninilchik still got an impressive performance from Kade McCorison, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. McCorison's afternoon made it ten games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Ninilchik's record now sits at 4-3. As for Ketchikan, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Ninilchik wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 74-59 loss against Barrow on the 11th. As for Ketchikan, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 58-45 win against Bartlett on the 11th.
