Volleyball Recap: Oak Hill Takes a Loss

Oak Hill lost against Poca back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Red Devils fell just short of the Dots by a score of 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Oak Hill sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 22-25, 15-10.

Despite the defeat, Oak Hill saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Cadence Walker had ten digs.

Oak Hill's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-15-3. As for Poca, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-1-4.

Oak Hill has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against George Washington on the 4th. As for Poca, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Huntington on the 2nd.
