Baseball Recap: Dexter Southfield Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Dexter Southfield was a bit more limited in their matchup on Monday. They came up short against the Braintree Wamps, falling 9-1.

Dexter Southfield saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Seamus Condon, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Dexter Southfield's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Braintree, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.

Dexter Southfield and Braintree will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. Dexter Southfield is set to challenge their familiar foe Phillips Exeter Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Braintree will face off against rival Walpole at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
