Rechon Black will transfer to
Montverde Academy (Montverde, Fla.) this fall.
The 6-foot-7, 180-pound point guard was the only sophomore to earn Associated Press All-State honors during the 2015-16 season, averaging 14.4 points, 8.1 rebounds and 7.1 assists per game.
An early North Carolina Tar Heel pledge, Black led
Concord (N.C.) to a 23-5 record and was named to the MaxPreps Sophomore All-American Team.
247Sports has Black pegged as the No. 27 overall recruit in high school basketball's Class of 2018.
