Soccer Game Preview: Pueblo East vs. Air Academy

The Pueblo East Eagles will face off against the Air Academy Kadets at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Pueblo East has given up an average of 6.8 goals per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Pueblo East came up short against Pueblo County on Thursday, falling 10-2. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Pueblo East were already down 8-0.

Meanwhile, Air Academy kept a clean sheet against Discovery Canyon on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Thunder. Given Air Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 50th, while Discovery Canyon are ranked 166th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Pueblo East's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Air Academy, they pushed their record up to 7-4-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
