Hayfield lost to Centreville 44-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Yorktown led 6A Conference 6 in scoring this week after putting up 44 points on Edison.
Thanks to the talents of Daniel Hecht and Gabriel Sutherland, McLean has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Hecht leads the league in passing with 256 yards, while Sutherland has rushed for 383 yards this season. Madison's Nate Williams leads the league in receiving yards with 76 on 5 catches.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when South Lakes takes on the Highlanders. At the moment, the Seahawks are in fourth, while McLean is in fifth.
Fairfax made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 2,135 from 2,403. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 34-14 victory over the Warhawks last week.
