Soccer Recap: Hemlock Comes Up Short

Hemlock lost to Valley Lutheran back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Huskies took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chargers.

Hemlock has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11-2 record this season. As for Valley Lutheran, their win bumped their record up to 5-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hemlock will face off against Alma at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hemlock will be up against Alma's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.79 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Valley Lutheran, they will square off against Nouvel Catholic Central at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
