Volleyball Recap: Christel House Wins Going Away Against Purdue Polytechnic

Christel House's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Purdue Polytechnic Techies as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

Christel House walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-18, 25-19.

Christel House found their leader in sophomore Jeremiah Silva-Nunez, who had six kills and five aces. Those six kills set a new season-high mark for Silva-Nunez. The team also got some help courtesy of Steven Alvarado, who had five assists and four aces.

Christel House's victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Christel House will challenge rival Lawrence North at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Purdue Polytechnic is set to square off against their familiar foe Beech Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
