Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Addison Gough and Isis Shores Lead Crete-Monee to Victory

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Crete-Monee walked away with it. They had just enough and edged out the Chicago Washington Patriots 2-1 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Warriors have posted since October 4th.

Crete-Monee was led to victory by Isis Shores and Addison Gough. Shores had 22 digs and three assists, while Gough had eight digs and two aces. Those two aces gave Gough a new career-high.

Crete-Monee is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-18 record this season. As for Chicago Washington, their loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 11-16.
