After a string of eight wins, Scott's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 72-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Goodland Cowboys. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Cowboys this season, with their most recent loss being a 52-49 defeat back in January.

Despite the loss, Scott still got an impressive performance from Jackson Rumford, who almost dropped a triple-double with 16 points, nine boards, and nine assists. The match was Rumford's tenth in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Eloy Ruelas, who posted 11 points and seven rebounds.

Scott's loss dropped their record down to 18-5. As for Goodland, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season.
