The Fremont Silverwolves will head out to square off against the West Jordan Jaguars at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
West Jordan will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Fremont extended their winning streak to five on Thursday. The Silverwolves came out on top against Farmington by a score of 18-14. The game was the first time the Silverwolves have beaten the Phoenix on their field since March 24, 2022.

Fremont got a massive performance out of Jessica Broadbent, who went 2-for-5 with seven RBI and one double. Those seven RBI gave Broadbent a new career-high. Saige Steele was another key player, getting on base in three of her six plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Fremont always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .542. They are 7-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, West Jordan put their dominant pitcher on display in the team's fourth consecutive shutout on Thursday. Everything went their way against Granger as they made off with a 10-0 victory. Considering the Jaguars have won nine games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Grace Mauga made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. Mauga was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Andrea Tagovailoa, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Rita Tavita, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
West Jordan is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.9 runs over those games. As for Fremont, their record now sits at 8-11.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Friday. Fremont hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.5 home runs per game. However, it's not like West Jordan struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 1.7 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Fremont came out on top in a nail-biter against West Jordan in their previous matchup back in May of 2022, sneaking past 7-5. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Silverwolves since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
