Recap: Horizon Science Academy Dragons vs. Grand River Academy
The Horizon Science Academy Dragons lost against Grand River Academy back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Horizon Science Academy ended up on the wrong side of a rough 67-47 walloping at the hands of Grand River Academy. Horizon Science Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-17.
Filip Runjo had a dynamite game for Grand River Academy, almost dropping a double-double on 22 points and nine rebounds. Runjo is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 18 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Joseph Quartey, who scored 12 points along with eight assists and four steals.
Horizon Science Academy's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Grand River Academy, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-1.
Horizon Science Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grand River Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Fuchs Mizrachi at 6:00 p.m. on February 8th. Fuchs Mizrachi is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
